Ophir is the founder of the offices in Jerusalem and in Tel Aviv and heads both offices.
Ophir is a graduate of the Faculty of Law at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, holds an LL.B., and is a member of the Israel Bar Association (1972).
In 1979 he founded the office in Jerusalem, which was among the first in Israel to specialize in advising institutes of education and higher education.
In addition to providing the firm’s clients with legal advice, Ophir has served as a lecturer for a (mandatory) course on the MA program Management of Public Institutions and NPOs at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and has written many articles and the book “The Associations Law in Practice”. He regularly participates in all of the professional committees and the leading forums in Israel (academic and other) concerning NPO law generally and associations specifically, and is active, personally, in various social change organizations.
